Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Metline Building Systems' website and aluminium window/facade engineering, fabrication, and installation services. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Nature of Our Services
Metline provides aluminium window and facade engineering, custom fabrication, and installation services for residential and commercial projects. Final structural, regulatory, or building-authority approvals (where applicable) rest solely with the relevant architect, structural consultant, or governing authority — Metline is responsible for the engineering and delivery of the window/facade system as specified and agreed.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate site measurements, structural drawings, and specifications, or facilitate an on-site measurement visit by our team
Disclose any known site constraints, structural limitations, or prior installation issues relevant to the project
Ensure the site is ready for measurement and installation as scheduled (structural work substantially complete, access available)
Respond to design approvals, material selections, and document requests within the specified timeframe
Fees and Payment
Service/project fees are quoted based on the agreed specifications, materials, and scope; any changes to scope after confirmation may affect final pricing.
Fees must be paid as per the agreed schedule (typically advance, milestone, and completion stages) before the corresponding stage of fabrication or installation begins.
Prices are subject to change for unconfirmed quotations; you will be notified of applicable fees before order confirmation.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Since windows are custom-fabricated to project specifications, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once fabrication has begun, except where required by law.
Advance payments made before fabrication starts may be refundable, subject to deduction of costs already incurred (design, material procurement, site visits).
Refund or cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
No Guarantee of 3rd-Party Timelines
Metline commits to the project timelines agreed at the time of order confirmation. However, we do not guarantee:
Timelines affected by delays outside our control (site readiness, structural work by other contractors, building authority processes)
Outcomes of third-party approvals (structural certification, building permissions) where applicable
Performance of materials or systems used or altered outside our specification after handover
Limitation of Liability
Metline shall not be liable for:
Delays caused by site conditions, other contractors, or circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes)
Damage or performance issues resulting from alterations, repairs, or maintenance not carried out by Metline or its authorized team
Losses arising from project or occupancy timelines set in anticipation of a delivery date not formally confirmed by us
Our liability, where applicable, is limited to the value of the specific order or project in question.
Client Conduct
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if:
False or misleading site information or specifications are provided
A client requests deviation from agreed structural/safety specifications in a way that compromises system integrity
Abusive or threatening behavior occurs toward our staff or site team
Intellectual Property
All content on the Metline website — including text, design, product imagery, and branding — is our property and may not be reproduced without permission. Custom design drawings prepared for a specific client project remain subject to the terms agreed for that project.
Third-Party Services
We may coordinate with third-party services (logistics, installation subcontractors, material suppliers) as part of project delivery. Where these are engaged and supervised by Metline, we remain responsible for the overall project outcome as agreed; independent third parties engaged directly by the client are outside our responsibility.
Confidentiality
We treat all client project documents, drawings, and personal information as confidential, used solely for the purpose of project execution, in line with our Privacy Policy.
